MIMOZINE MONSTER

Good afternoon. How are you? I hope your week has been good so far, and mostly earthquake free. (I don’t get out of bed for anything less than a 6.0 myself, and certainly didn’t on Tuesday. 5.4… Pff!)

Now that all my pictures are hanging straight again, and the Mr. Burns Nosferatu action figure has been un-toppled, I thought I’d show you a new little item. Are you familiar with Mimobots? They’re Flash drives hidden in limited edition designer toys. To get to the drive, you have to literally take their head off.

The really cool thing about the bots is that they come preloaded with content, specifically a video magazine called MimoZine. Scott Seraydarian interviewed me for the latest issue. Yes, it’s more of me talking about the monsters — something you might be getting sick of at this point. But the segment also features an exclusive new Monster. Shot from TWO camera angles! Please take a look:

Gary Baseman is the main guest in the new episode, as he also designed the MODman Flash drive that contains it. You can click here to order it.

I hope life is treating you well, and that you’re having
a mellow summer. More monsters to come soon.
For now, please remember that 344 LOVES YOU

    Yea! #51!…….*S*…..my very first
This is one of your best interviews, I think. Maybe it has something to do with that perfect music score. But you look like you’re really having fun there.
I’ve never seen the monster with all the tiny people standing around. It really does make it more scary.

b13’s right, one of your best interviews ever. It’s never any hardship to watch you talk about the monsters, Stefan — no, it’s not Greed Control, or any of the other Big Topics — but it’s important, in its own sort of way. A special thing happened here. 🙂

whoops, not b13, Inanna. But still right, all the same. 🙂

Glad you like the interview, guys. I definitely had fun with this one,
and Scott did a a great job conducting, shooting, and editing the interview beautifully. He did the whole thing as a solo operation, too, if you can believe it.

You are awesome. I’m glad I was pointed in the direction of your blog and look forward to reading from now on. 😀

Nicely done, Stefan. Informative and very fun.
They found a nice friendly soundtrack for the interview as well. Is that Mountain Monster music?
What I also liked was that after the clip was over I saw an advertisement for Monster Truck tickets. Now there’s an idea for you. What would a Daily Monster Truck look like?

Hi Stephan, My name is Phyllis. I have the same maiden name as you. So, my name was Phyllis Bucher. I was wondering if you are related to me. Was grandfather named Bill Bucher?
