VACATION PICTURES / ESQUIRE COVER

Good morning. Just a few quick pics from the road. Non-Monster content, I know. I hope you don’t mind. Even without big eyes and teeth 344 LOVES YOU

The lights at Rockefeller Plaza.

The new e-ink cover of Esquire. I’m so jealous! It’s so mini-Bladerunner! I want to make a cover with e-ink. Better yet, a poster! Once you look closely you can see that the flashing bits are all black and white. The color is printed on a clear overlay. Inside the magazine is a small piece on the technology involved, and how tricky it was to get the cover produced. But imagine in 10 or 15 years… My copy is lying next to me on the desk and it’s pretty surreal to have a flashing magazine cover in the corner of my eye. Viva e-ink!

    Oooh!
Be shure to visit Greenwich village while you’re in the area.

Pure nature in New York…Tower covered with green leaves and thin branches with morning dewdrops…natural or artificial that’s the question…;-))

Thanks for sharing your vacation photos, Stefan!
The twinkling lights (out a bit early) are lovely.
Props to Esquire for the Bladerunner-esque cover.
Haha, yah, it’s hard to imagine spending $8 to $10 per issue!
    Yay for advertising subsidies.
