WEEKLY MONSTER 104

Greetings from New York. It’s the night after the AIGA/NY Fresh Dialogue event and I wanted to post both the new Weekly Monster and a new Open Source Monster made by one of tonight’s attendees between the end of the talk and my return to the hotel. Fast work by first time contributor Nicolas Taveras:

The caption reads: Kids, you must remember it’s a fishy-fish world!
Indeed it is. More reporting from the event will follow, but not tonight.
Still… even when tired 344 LOVES YOU

Is is that cold in NY that he needs a sweater and scarf? *L*
If he’s gonna stand out there doing street performance, he’s gonna need a hat on the sidewalk to collect the money. And stand near a Starbucks; lots of traffic there.
And have a knife in his boot. *snicker*

During his stay in NYC Tintam decided to go retro and get jiggy wid it. He packed his saddle brown platform shoes, velour avocado scarf and showed the crowd how it’s really done!

    “Bert! Is that you?”
    “Ernie!”
“Good God, man, what have you done to yourself??”
“Changed it up, babe. Brooklyn was way too tame for me. After Hooper went, it just wasn’t the same.”
    “You weren’t the same.”
“No, I wasn’t. Anyway, it was time to leave Park Slope for something a little edgier.”
“So, what, you traded in the stripes for a velour scarf?”
“I moved to Chelsea. Velour is back in, don’t you know? And, well, then I put my finger in a light socket.”
“Oh. Hey, it was great seeing you. I gotta run. Best of luck to you, yeah? And…Bert?”
    “Yes, Ernie.”
“I’m married now, but I’ll never forget our years together. You were the best I ever had.”
    “I know, Ernie. Good luck.”
