SIGN OF LIFE

Hello there! Just a quick sign of life from your friend in the ink business. Forgive me for being so un-posty these days. More Monsters are in the works, but right now I’m typing away furiously on a new book for Spring 2011 — monsterless, but still funny, hopefully. In other words, I’m a lazy blogger, but not a lazy person, and I hope you’ll stay tuned! And if you’ve forgotten, which I’d certainly understand, please let me remind you that 344 LOVES YOU

A-rakes-progress

In the meantime, it’s spring outside:

He’s big, but looks like he’s nimble on the toes. Perfect for sneaking up on unsuspecting prey.
Have a nice (well deserved) break. Those six days will surely feel great.

A little dangerfreak this guy! To be near by a tiptoe monster… That’s adrenaline on the highest level…

Oh wow, those look like Clivias… indigenously South African flowers actually (in case you didn’t know – lol, your botanical lesson for the day 😉 They’re exquisite when in full bloom.

Clivias is exactly right. They came with the place, and have somehow managed to keep themselves alive under my negligent care. I didn’t know they were indigenous to South Africa, though. Very cool Thank you for telling me, Michelle.
